Joost Mashup in a Browser

Joost Mashup
My first mashup of a video application.I wanted to know if it was possible to build a web based application that does not require any downloads, that is comparable to the downloadable executable Joost application. This mashup has been done with 1 flash file as compared to Joost which requires 100's of files.

Flickr Video

Flickr Video
The interface that made Flickr famous is no longer supported. I really liked that interface, so I decided to bring it back, with a few additions. The cool thing about it was the user was able to view dozens of thumbnails at a time, I added the ability for the user to grab a divider and extend the viewable area to hundreds of videos. The user is able to view 208 thumbs and in one click view a video. In my opinion the design of the previous interface was far superior to the current design, it was a big mistake to discontinue this interface. Users are able to click on the options button and very easily switch between old and new school interfaces, hide and show info and thumbanils components. Flickr supports a thumbnail preview of the small image on rollover, my version supports the ability to play the actual video on rollover. This is an awesome feature which allows the user to have PIP type interface on rollover.
